OUR PROJECTS

See how we're transforming Great Yarmouth

International partnerships

Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust has championed an international approach to conservation and is proud to work with a number of partners, including organisations in Bulgaria, Estonia and Taiwan.

The purpose of these partnerships is to develop best practice models for the delivery of traditional skills training, to share knowledge and to research historic building techniques. The partnerships facilitate exchange visits and joint project working, enabling trainees to gain invaluable experience.

Education, training and outreach

Education, training and outreach are a central part of our activities, and are considered fundamental to the success of Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust. Working as a training provider and facilitator, we have established a reputation for using heritage preservation as a tool to engage the wider community and increase skills within the local workforce. Since 2014 the Trust has delivered over 30,000 training hours.
