Lenko Grigorov

Heritage Project Manager

Lenko is an accredited conservation architect. He has a Master’s degree in Architecture, and worked at the Bulgarian National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage, Sofia and various architectural agencies before joining GYPT in 2019. He has diverse experience working across the fields of architecture, conservation and cultural heritage in the UK and Bulgaria, and has lectured on the History of Western Architecture as well as leading courses in surveying and recording historic buildings. In 2020, he became GYPT’s Heritage Project Manager, a role supported by the Architectural Heritage Fund.

He is currently a PhD candidate at The University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, where he is studying the problems of linking contemporary and traditional Bulgarian Orthodox church architecture.
