Thanks to generous funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Culture Recovery Fund, we are delighted to announce that we are developing an exciting new offer for the former Nelson Museum at 26-27 South Quay.

The Yare Gallery will be a free to access art galley, operating as a regional centre of artistic excellence and offering a diverse programme of temporary works of national renown and semi-permanent collections by local artists.

We are hoping to open to the public in May 2021, subject to public health guidance.

A website for the gallery will be launching in April, where visitor information and a programme of exhibitions and events can be found. If you're interested in getting involved with the project, please keep an eye on this website and our social media channels for the latest news and volunteering opportunities!
